Fast Fact: Mattress Industry Sales Up 2.8% Over Q1 of 2017

Mattress industry sales totaled $3.9 billion in the first quarter, a 2.8 percent increase over the same quarter in 2017, according to preliminary estimates from Impact Consulting Services’ proprietary industry model.
Reflecting the bedding industry’s seasonality, sales are up 9 percent compared to the previous fourth quarter of 2017.
The model from Impact Consulting, parent company of Home Furnishings Business, includes revised figures from 2017 that reflect revised data from the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis.
