2018 by Jason Schneider in Executive Changes, Industry
Bryan Edwards has been named president of A.R.T. Furniture, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Jeff Cook, CEO.
Edwards has been with A.R.T. since December 2015 and has held the position of senior vice president of sales.
“Bryan has been instrumental in working to consistently grow A.R.T.’s business, overseeing growth of sales for the company both domestically and internationally,” said Cook. “Bryan’s experience with A.R.T.’s key accounts and his ability to work with A.R.T. sales representatives to grow their business has allowed A.R.T. to experience double-digit growth in his tenure at A.R.T. Furniture.
“Additionally, this restructuring will allow me to spend more time on the growth and diversification of A.R.T.,” Cook added.
Edwards will continue to handle the day-to-day operations of sales but will work closely with operations, marketing, and brand building, and continue to play an increasing role in the business operations of A.R.T. Furniture.
Previously Edwards had stints at Aspenhome and Flexsteel Industries, among others.
“I have been lucky to work under Jeff Cook’s leadership and look forward to our continued journey together as we grow A.R.T.,” said Edwards. “Jeff’s commitment to customers goes beyond a business transaction and I deeply appreciate his guidance.”
A.R.T. Furniture is part of the Markor team of companies. Edwards will continue to be based in the High Point, N.C., office.
