Casey Appointed Executive Director of International Textile Alliance

Casey comes to ITA with more than 35 years of experience in exhibition, trade show and the association management industries. 
 
”Brian brings decades of executive and nonprofit experience to the table,” said Ismail Arslan, president of the ITA board of directors. “His conflict-solving skills, industry background, enthusiasm, and impressive track record will be a tremendous asset to ITA. I am confident that with Brian’s leadership, our organization will grow bigger and better than ever before.”
 
Previously, Casey served as CEO for the Center for Exhibition Industry Research; general manager for the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio; CEO for the High Point Market Authority; and executive vice president with Smith Bucklin, a global association management firm.

He has also served on numerous boards and advisory groups, including the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, Major American Trade Show Organizers, Center for Exhibition Industry Research, Chicago Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, among other volunteer organizations. 

Casey currently serves on the board for the American Red Cross and is a resident of High Point, N.C.
