Janet Guy Named to Hall of Fame Board

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. has elected Janet Guy, president and owner of Prestige Arts and Art Trends, to its 22-member Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Guy’s 40-year-old company, Prestige Arts and Art Trends, is a wall décor manufacturing company based in Laguna Niguel, Calif., with showrooms at the Dallas, High Point, and Las Vegas markets.

“The Hall of Fame Board is the most diverse board in the industry with five retailers, five furniture manufacturers, four home accents manufacturers, two bedding manufacturers, two fabrics manufacturers, and four industry service providers,” said Jeff Child, Hall of Fame board president. “Janet and her family have been active in the Hall of Fame and have been terrific ambassadors for our leadership initiative.  We look forward to the leadership and insight that she brings to not just the Hall of Fame but to our industry.”

Founded in 1988, the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc., is an international, industry-wide organization founded to preserve the home furnishings history and to celebrate exceptional individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the U.S. home furnishings industry.
