Havertys Reports Sales for First Quarter

Havertys sales for the first quarter 2018 decreased 0.5% to $199.4 million, compared with $200.4 million for the first quarter of 2017.

On a comparable store basis, sales for the quarter were down 1.1%. Comparable store sales do not include locations opened, closed or otherwise non-comparable during the last 12 months.

Total written sales for the first quarter of 2018 were down 2.0% and written comparable store sales decreased 2.6% over last year's first quarter.
