Bivona & Company Taps Leflein as National Sales Manager

Bivona & Company Taps Leflein as National Sales Manager Bivona & Company has named Tommy Leflein as the national sales manager, handling furniture retail store distribution, spearheading an expanded distribution strategy for the company.

As the industry continues to shift, Bivona & Company will utilize Leflein’s expertise in retail distribution to open new sales channels in the home furnishings industry.  The company’s product line includes nursery furniture, and kids and teens furniture along with cribs and mattresses.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tommy to the team, said Larry Bivona, president of Bivona & Company. “An evolution is under way in the juvenile retail marketplace and brands with superior quality and design have a tremendous opportunity to engage with consumers when and where they are thinking about home furnishing. Bivona collections have always been designed with a holistic approach, keeping the entire home décor in mind, and we are looking forward to expanding distribution into broader home furnishings.”

With more than 40 years of both furniture sales and senior management experience, Leflein comes to the company from Nourison Rugs, where he was vice president of sales. Before that he was with Lexington Brands, and was previously vice president of sales at Berkline and Lifestyle Calif. In his new role, Leflein will be leading a dedicated salesforce team, and reporting directly to Bivona. He will handle the furniture store distribution of all the companies licensed and private brands.

Leflein will lead sales appointments at this month’s High Point market. The ED Ellen DeGeneres line, the newest addition to the Bivona & Company portfolio and a key focus for Leflein, will be the new featured line this market, with six major collections shown in Market Square on the third floor. Other licensed brands include Fisher-Price, plus the company’s own private labels. Bivona & Company has distribution across specialty baby retailers, mass big box retailers, and now will be targeting furniture stores across the U.S.

“Bivona is a respected industry brand and I am excited to part of this new venture in which furniture retailers will be able to create a new revenue source with a minimal investment,” Leflein said.
