Promotional sales company Planned Furniture Promotions (PFP) has promoted David Cosenza, Jr. to the role of Senior Consultant reporting to Roy Hester, senior vice-president.
In his new role Cosenza will work directly with clients to develop strategies for business reinvention, retirement, remodeling, store closings or complete liquidations.
Cosenza, Jr. grew up in the high-impact promotional sales business starting with PFP as a young man. He worked in the warehouse for his father, David Cosenza (DC) who has been an event coordinator with PFP for 42 years and is still active with the firm.
“David has worked in virtually every position at our company,” says Rob Rosenberg, president, PFP. “This gives him an amazing perspective on what it takes to be successful in a promotional sale.”
For many years, the younger Cosenza served as a senior event coordinator, handling some of the largest high-impact sales events in the US, including Levitz, Stacks, Huffman-Koos, and others.
In addition to his experience at PFP, Cosenza held a senior role at Bob’s Discount Furniture (co-founded by PFP owner, Gene Rosenberg) as a regional manager. In his role at Bob’s, he successfully managed training and developing new store growth for over six years.
“David is one of the most positive people I know,” said Hester. “He’s a master at team building and virtually every client that he’s ever assisted appreciates his knowledge and work ethic. We are confident that he will excel in this position. David’s a winner with an outstanding track record of successful events for our clients.”
