Man Wah Adds Patrick, Stern to Management Team

Upholstery major Man Wah/Cheers has expanded its U.S. management team by naming Bill Patrick as senior vice president of national accounts and Henry Stern as vice president of national accounts.

Patrick most recently was president of KMotion, the motion upholstery unit of Kuka Home. Earlier, he held senior executive posts at Corinthian Import Division and Jackson/Catnapper, and started his furniture industry career at Broyhill.

“I am excited to have Bill join our organization. He has years of experience with product and a proven professional work ethic,” said Guy Ray, president of Man Wah USA. “His knowledge of the home furnishings industry will enable Man Wah to have many advantages leading into 2018 and beyond.”

In his new post, Stern will be responsible for growing some of the company’s major accounts, corporate training and new business development.

“Both of these positions are in direct response to our commitment to being a world class company,” said Ray. “Our company is poised to see tremendous growth in 2018 and beyond. These hires will enable us to better support our ever growing sales effort. Expanding our North American Management team and making this financial investment is in direct response to the continued commitment of our company to support our retail partners.”
