FastFact: West Shows Biggest Increase in Existing Home Prices

Paced by a 22.5 percent increase in the West, existing home prices have jumped by double-digits in three of the four major regions of the country since 2014, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Association of Realtors.

The South was slightly behind the West with a 20.8 percent jump, while the Midwest showed a 17.2 percent increase. The Northeast, on the other hand, registered only a 7.4 percent increase.

The data covered 2014 through the second quarter of 2017.
