Stoltz Resigns as President of Wolf Furniture

Gene Stoltz, a longtime executive at Altoona, Pa.-based Wolf Furniture, said he is resigning as the company’s president.
In a letter to Wolf employees, Stoltz said his resignation is effective Feb. 16.
“I have enjoyed the many great relationships that I've built with so many associates,” he said in the letter. “It has been my honor to work for Wolf's for over 29 years and to be able to work for two of the finest gentlemen in the industry, John and Doug Wolf.”
Wolf Furniture and Levin Furniture, which is based in Pittsburgh, were acquired by Art Van Furniture in November.
“The recent acquisition by Art Van looks like a tremendous opportunity for so many associates and for the growth of Wolf Furniture.,” Stoltz said in the letter. “I wish you all the best and I will miss you dearly. Thank you my friends for a good ride.”
