Charity Poker Tournament Adds 3 Sponsors

The event takes place Saturday, Jan. 27 – the day before the official opening of the Las Vegas Market – at the Golden Nugget hotel.

Tournament organizers said A. Lava is a $2,500 Platinum sponsor, Customatic is a $1,000 Gold sponsor, and Picket and Ruwe have a $500 Silver sponsorship.

“We are now focused on filling all of our seats for the event itself,” said co-host Randy Coconis. “We want the residents of Las Vegas and all the furniture market attendees to know we want and need their support at our event. We encourage everyone to come out and play in our Texas Hold’em No Limit event.”

In addition to a record number of sponsors for this year’s tournament, Coconis said organizers are appreciative of those who have donated to a silent auction or are helping with logistics. Those include Malouf, Huffman Koos, Visionary Sleep, Leggett & Platt, Al Adler, The Layout Company, Retail Marketing Group, Dan Phillips and Serta.

Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to five autism-related charities: The Paula and Anthony Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University: Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities at the Touro University Nevada: Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus - Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders; Autism Speaks; and the National Autism Association – Southeast Ohio Chapter (NAASEO).
