Home Décor Exec Mendlow Returns to New View Gifts & Accessories

Decorative resource New View Gifts & Accessories has announced the addition of Home Décor executive Ann Marie Mendlow as executive vice president of new business development.

Mendlow brings back to New View – the company she co-founded more than 20 years ago – decades of industry knowledge and product expertise. In her newly created role, she will oversee the integration of New View's recent company acquisitions, drive product innovation and expand partner relations in new and existing market segments.

Speaking about Mendlow's return, CEO John Brennan said, "We couldn't be happier to bring Ann Marie back to New View. Her years of experience and knowledge launching and scaling products is remarkable. She is an innovator, and will complement our team and help execute on New View's acquisition and product roadmap."

Mendlow added, "When I began talking to John about returning to New View, I knew it was the right decision. I am eager to integrate the new brands with our existing ones, while leveraging our overall operations to grow distribution and innovative products. We have a great deal of opportunity in the marketplace."

Through acquisitions and expansion, New View continues to add depth and diversity to its categories of business to further grow their presence in the accessories and décor sector.

New View acquired Blue Moon Beads and DCWV Home in June 2017 and finished off the year with the addition of Prinz Frames in November. The new brands, along with the signature New View and recently launched Haven Home businesses are aligned with the company's vision to best service the needs of the evolving retail omnichannel landscape.

"New View has been eager to grow our business and product lines with relationships that accentuate our existing distribution, and the acquisitions of Blue Moon Beads, DCWV Home and Prinz Frames do just that opening up opportunities in DIY, craft, independent store and ecommerce market segment, said co-founder Carolyn Narzikul.

“In 2018, we are focused on a progressive approach to expanding our product offerings and are pleased to bring these brands and their retail relationships into our fold," Narzikul continued.

New View's showroom can be found at the AmericasMart in Atlanta, Building 1, 6th floor, F9-11.
