January 5,
2018 by Larry Thomas in Community / Charitable Support, Industry
An early-morning fire caused extensive damage to the American Furniture Mfg. plant in Ecru, Miss., but no injuries were reported.
American Furniture President Randy Spak said the fire apparently started about 7 a.m. in the warehouse. The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
Spak said he was uncertain when the promotional upholstery company would resume production, but said he hoped to have more information early next week.
The company is exhibiting at this week’s Tupelo Furniture Market.
