Case goods and upholstery resource A.R.T. Furniture has promoted John Scarsella to Midwest regional sales manager.
In his new role, Scarsella will support customers and sales representatives in six territories while continuing his territory responsibilities in Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.
Reporting to Bryan Edwards, senior vice president of sales, Scarsella is tasked with growing revenue through increased communications among the sales representatives and customers within the region, fostering a culture of new ideas and best practices among the region’s sales force and relaying them back to the A.R.T. leadership team.
“As the 2016 A.R.T. Sales Representative of the Year, working with some of our top customers, John is uniquely qualified and capable to share his successes throughout the other territories,” said Jeff Cook, CEO.
Scarsella joined A.R.T. in 2015 as an independent sales representative and has grown his territory in that short time to garner the company’s top sales award in his second year. He was previously with Stanley Furniture and grew his territory sales by double digits.
Earlier, he served as territory manager at other home furnishings companies, including a long tenure at Durham Furniture.
