Fine home furnishings distributor Baker has announced the appointment of Jay Paschall as VP of Showrooms.
In his new post Paschall will have P&L responsibility for the company operated trade showrooms. He will be based at Baker’s corporate headquarters in Hickory, NC and will report to President and CEO Russell Towner.
Paschall brings 30 years of high-end furniture experience to the position. Most recently he was with Century Furniture, where he served in various executive management roles. He also worked for Kindel and Hickory Chair and was previously with Baker for 17 years serving in sales, product development and merchandising roles.
Towner said, “Jay has a strong history of success, a broad understanding of our industry, experience in the showroom channel and a passion for the Baker and McGuire brands. Our showrooms will benefit from his leadership.”
“It is great to be back at Baker. These brands possess so many of the attributes I value – a dedicated group of associates, a commitment to the design community and a long standing passion for leading edge design and superior craftsmanship. The future is very bright for Baker and McGuide and I am excited to be a part of it,” said Paschall.
