Full-line furniture resource Emerald Home Furnishings has promoted Terry Treadaway to the newly created position of president of manufacturing.
Treadaway joined the company in April 2015 as general manager of Emerald Mississippi, the company’s upholstery factory in New Albany, Miss.
“Terry has been fully responsible for the upholstery manufacturing plant from the beginning,” said Emerald President David Beckmann. “He did the engineering for production, set up systems, hired the staff and has been responsible for the growth and profitability. It is a pleasure to recognize the significant contribution he has made by creating this new position to acknowledge his accomplishments.”
The 200,000-square-foot facility also warehouses Emerald’s case goods and upholstery products, and has a showroom that is available by appointment to industry professionals.
