A.R.T. Furniture Promotes Stoll, Hires Two Others

Upholstery and case goods resource A.R.T. Furniture has promoted one executive and hired two others as it continues to expand its staff.

The company said longtime A.R.T. employee Jonathan Stoll has been promoted to director of product development, where he will work closely with Adam Tilley, senior vice president of product and marketing. Previously, Stoll served as director of quality.

“Jonathan brings engineering skills and a deep understanding of the A.R.T. customer to his new role,” said Tilley. “We are lucky to have him with us as we grow.”

Taking Stoll’s place as director of quality is John Wilborne, who has worked in the furniture industry since 1980. He has worked in retail and manufacturing, setting up and overseeing quality processes and standards.

Reporting to CEO Jeff Cook, Wilborne is active in both the American Standards & Testing Materials (ASTM) and the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA).

In addition, Emily Severson has been named demand and sales coordinator and will help track and manage sales and growth. Reporting to Bryan Edwards, senior vice president of sales, Severson will work with retailers and sales reps to gather data that will help the A.R.T. team plan and grow new and existing collections.

She comes to A.R.T. with a professional background in building and managing furniture retailers’ websites and digital catalogs.

“With over 20 furniture collections and a scope that now includes both indoor and outdoor living, it’s important that we attract talented new people and continue to be strategic in using the talent we already have,” said Cook.
