Twin-Star Names New Sales, Marketing, Product Management Execs

Twin-Star International, a resource for electric fireplaces, home entertainment and home office furniture, has named three key executives to its leadership team.

The company said James Junker is the new vice president of product management; Lisa Cody, has been named vice president of marketing; and Todd Outten is the new vice president of sales.

The new team will help build Twin-Star’s business by focusing on consumer-driven innovation, consumer engagement, and acceleration of mutual growth with retail partners, said CEO Lori Gonzalez.

“These three executives bring incredible knowledge and experience in understanding consumer insight, product design and innovation, and marketing and sales,” Gonzalez said. “I am proud of Twin-Star’s 21-year legacy and believe these additions to our executive leadership team strongly position Twin-Star for continued success. I’m confident that we will enhance consumers’ lives through beautiful, thoughtful furniture designs, and drive tremendous growth for our retail partners and industry.”

Gonzalez was named Twin-Star’s CEO in March following the company’s sale to the private equity firm Z Capital Partners.

Junker brings 20 years of experience in product management, brand development, design-rich thinking and marketing strategy, with a focus on the consumer products industry. He will lead initiatives related to product innovation and the product portfolio. He will also oversee the trade marketing and industrial design functions.

Cody brings more than 20 years of marketing leadership experience for start-ups as well as larger companies primarily in the consumer products and retail space. In her new post, she is responsible for e-commerce merchandising, consumer and retail engagement, digital marketing, and creative services. She will translate Twin-Star’s deep understanding of consumer segments into effective communication that drives consumer conversion, Gonzalez said.

Outten has 25 years of sales leadership experience, including roles at Fortune 500 companies, as well as smaller, entrepreneurial organizations, with extensive management capabilities in joint business planning and e-commerce, club, mass and home center channels. In his new role, Outten will be responsible for sales activities across all channels.
