LaGrange Named to New E-commerce Post at Star Furniture

Retailer Star Furniture has named industry veteran Georgia LaGrange to the newly created post of director of web/e-commerce.
In her new post, LaGrange will work with Jodi FitzGerald, who was named chief commercial officer earlier this year, to drive development and execution of Star’s omni-channel growth strategies across all categories including online sales.
LaGrange comes to Star from Michigan-based Art Van Furniture, where she was e-commerce merchandising coordinator. Earlier, she was e-commerce merchandising manager for The RoomPlace in Chicago, and an e-commerce buyer for Sears and Hayneedle.
“Georgia joining our team will enable Star Furniture to rapidly grow our capabilities in this important media,” FitzGerald said.
LaGrange will focus on growth through all web-related strategies including online sales, web development, and launching a new direct ship business for Star.
