RMCAD Taps Jessica Elliott as Chair of Interior Design

With years of industry experience in commercial interior design, her areas of specialty include space planning, AutoCAD, construction management, finish selection, field verification, and furniture specification for large commercial clients. Elliott also has 12 years of experience teaching interior design students.
RMCAD's Interior Design Department is committed to providing a comprehensive educational experience that prepares students to be creative, responsible, ethical interior designers who are qualified to successfully enter the design profession, gain the necessary experience to successfully complete the NCIDQ examination, and contribute to the health, safety, and welfare of society and the planet.
The program prepares students to draw upon critical and analytical thought processes in order to meet the current demands of professional practice, and provides the means and lifelong life-long learning skills to positively impact the future of interior design.
The on-campus and online Interior Design Program leading to the BFA degree is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), and the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
