The 10,000 square-foot joint showroom will be on the seventh floor of Building A.
Both companies are owned by the Lim family, and CEO Daniel Lim said the new exhibit space should provide a wealth of new business opportunities for Bernards and Bauhaus.
“Las Vegas Market continues to grow in importance within the furniture industry, and therefore was the logical choice for our first ever West Coast showroom,” Lim said. “We believe that our new 10,000-square-foot showroom will substantially heighten our profile in the Western states and become a significant source of new business for our brands.”
Market officials said the addition of Bernards and Bauhaus to its tenant roster reinforces Las Vegas Market’s ever-increasing presentation of case goods and upholstered furniture suppliers.
Bernards is a supplier of classic and contemporary case goods, including a full assortment of master and youth bedroom suites, as well as a large assortment of both formal and casual dining collections and occasional tables.
Bauhaus is known for its upholstered furniture, including sofas, sectionals and occasional chairs in transitional, casual and contemporary styles.
“Las Vegas Market is pleased to welcome these two recognized industry leaders, Bernards and Bauhaus, to our ever- expanding roster of top furniture firms,” said Ryan Mahoney, senior vice president of furniture leasing for International Market Centers. “Bernards and Bauhaus recognize that Las Vegas Market offers unparalleled exposure to retailers and designers from the western United States.”
The Winter Market will take place Jan. 28-Feb. 1.
