IHFRA Sets Nov. 10 Deadline for Rep Award Nominations

The International Home Furnishings Representatives Assn. has set a Nov. 10 deadline for nominations for its Rising Star and Legacy Rep awards that will be presented at group’s annual awards gala during the April High Point Market.

IHFRA said a Rising Star and Legacy Rep award will be presented for each of three regions – East Coast, West Coast and Middle USA.

The Legacy Awards will honor sales representatives who have been on the road for 30 years or more, while the Rising Star Awards will spotlight those who have been on the road five years or less.

IHFRA members and dealers may submit nominations. Nomination forms are available by clicking here. https://ihfra.wufoo.com/forms/q1pb7zzf1syy3wm/

The reps are among several people who will be honored at IHFRA’s annual Furniture Industry Awards Gala, which begins with a 6 p.m. cocktail reception on Monday, April 16 at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, N.C.

In addition to the sales rep awards, AICO President Martin Ploy will receive the group’s Pillar of the Industry award; Gardner-White Furniture President Rachel Tronstein will receive the Retailer of the Year award; and former IHFRA President Mark Scharff will receive the Distinguished Service Award.
