Eclipse Names David Tenuta to Key Marketing Post

Mattress producer Eclipse International said it has hired industry veteran David Tenuta as director of brands and marketing.
Tenuta has more than 30 years of experience in the sales and marketing of luxury brands such as E.S. Kluft, Aireloom, Kingsdown and Hypnos.
At Eclipse, Tenuta will support marketing efforts on all company brands, but will place special focus on the portfolio’s luxury brands Eastman House, Hemingway and Van Vorst.
“We have built the nation’s largest portfolio of luxury bedding brands under one roof, and Dave will be able to assist us market and package these offerings to our dealers,” said Stuart Carlitz, Eclipse International president and CEO. “There is no one in the industry with a greater depth of experience in building luxury bedding brands.”
Prior to joining Eclipse, Tenuta was director of sales at Paramount Sleep, where he managed sales for the Hypnos line and strategic accounts. He joined Paramount in 2014 as director of sales and business development.
Tenuta also held sales management positions with E.S. Kluft & Co. and Kingsdown.
“Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with many of the great innovators in our industry, specifically in the luxury sector,” Tenuta said. “I was there at the beginning of E.S. Kluft for example, and participated in what was the birth of one of the strongest brands in the industry today. I believe the Eclipse portfolio has the opportunity to grow in a similar way and I am excited to be a part of this team.”
