Belfort Furniture Founder Honored by Boy Scouts

The award, which has been presented annually since 1998, recognizes a local leader for his or her contributions to the community, and who exemplifies the Scout Oath in their daily life.
“We are privileged to recognize a role model within the furniture retailing business and the Loudoun community”, said Kristina Bouweiri, chairman of the fund-raising event where Huber received the award.
Bouweiri said Huber’s has supported numerous local organizations over the years including Every Citizen Has Opportunities, Loudoun YMCA, Loudoun Education Foundation, Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter, and the USO.
The Goose Creek District serves about 4,000 Boy Scouts in Loudoun County, Va.
