Samson Holding Plans to Sell Shares in Furniture Brands

The filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commision includes controlling shareholders Shan Huei Kuo  and Yi-Mei Liu  in the proposed sale.

According to the filing, they are selling 267,355 shares of Furniture Brands common stock, which would take their ownership in the company to less than 10 percent. The filing goes on to indicate the parties are mulling whether to sell the remainder of their interest in the company.

Prior to the settlement of the sale transaction, the company holds 1,031,624 common stock of Furniture Brands, representing 12.8 percent of outstanding share capital of Furniture Brands.
