Canadian home furnishings brand Gus Modern, launched their latest collection, featuring new Scandinavian-inspired upholstery and architecturally influenced casegoods in their larger showroom at this week’s High Point Market.
The new collection included three new casegoods series, the Belmont, Emerson and Myles, all of which consist of a credenza, media stand and end table. Also launched was the Astrid Sofa and Hilary Chair, designs which are notable for their strong, organic curves, and the Carmel Sofa, a slip covered sofa inspired by the laid-back coastal lifestyle.
Versatile new accents like the Nordic-inspired Axis End Table and Wave Stool rounded out the assortment.
The Gus showroom featured its collaboration with heritage textile brand Pendleton Woolen Mills - a limited edition collection of Gus chairs upholstered in vibrant southwestern motifs.
“This fall, Gus is focusing on Scandinavian influenced shapes and textures, presenting sculptural pieces and storage solutions with plenty of natural surfaces and soft curves,” said Amanda Schuler, innovation specialist at Gus Design Group.
“We’re excited to showcase new lines and silhouettes in our popular quick -ship collection,” added Schuler.
