Surya to Host Two Seminars at High Point Market

Rug and home décor recourse Surya is hosting a pair of seminars during the High Point Market that will offer Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits for market attendees.
The first event, “The Guide to Area Rugs,” will take place Saturday from 2-3 p.m., and will survey uses of area rugs throughout history. The demonstration of materials, fabrication and application practices will improve designers’ ability to provide informed style solutions for clients.
The second, “How to Delivery Luxury Projects in Under 90 Days,” features interior designer Denise McGaha, and is presented by the High Point Market Authority and the American Society of Interior Designers. It is scheduled for Monday from 2-3 p.m.
Both seminars will take place in the Surya showroom, Showplace 4100, and offer 0.1 CEU credits.
“Every year, we set out to host events that engage market attendees in insightful discussions about topics that impact their businesses and the overall design community,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. “This year, we are excited to not only bring the discerning business mind of designer Denise McGaha to the Surya showroom, but also present our own original CEU course that will uncover interesting and useful facts about area rugs.”
