High-end casual furniture producer Castelle is celebrating its 40th anniversary at the upcoming High Point Market with a Sunday brunch and social media contest.
The anniversary brunch will take place from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Castelle showroom, space M-101 of the International Home Furnishings Center. Open to all market attendees, it will feature mimosas and a deluxe brunch menu.
Showroom tours, highlighting the new Barclay Butera Outdoor Collection and the Elements by Castelle Collection, will be available.
The social media contest will take place at the company’s outdoor product display on the walkway between the IHFC and Showplace. Pieces from the Castelle Express Ship program will be on display at a selfie station, and marketgoers taking a selfie with their favorite chair and posting it with the hashtag #Castelleluxury will have a chance to win a Quick Ship Collection from Castelle.
Company officials said the display and the promotion are designed to highlight the new expedited shipping programs that offer delivery of the high-end furnishings within two to six weeks.
“Our 40 years in the casual furnishings industry is a milestone of which we are very proud and eager to share with our retail partners and industry friends in High Point,” said Derek Ritzel, president and CEO of Castelle. “The events during the High Point Market, including the brunch, are a continuation of our celebration, as well as an occasion to recognize the diversity and longevity of the Castelle brand and our efforts to continue to be responsive to the needs of our customers.”
Castelle was founded in 1977 as a retail operation that also manufactured and sold PVC furniture within the specialty store and mass market segments. In 1997, the company found its niche in the design and production of cast aluminum furniture, and its manufacturing operations in Costa Rica now produce nearly 5,000 cast aluminum pieces per week during peak season.
