BOLD Presents Master Awards to Butera, Drake, Babey

BOLD Summit, the business conference for principal designers, bestowed the 2017 BOLD Master awards to Barclay Butera, Jamie Drake and Pamela Babey at their annual conference in September, at the Downtown Chicago Auditorium Theater.
Over 100 luxury designers and industry partners where in attendance to meet and network with the elite of the design industry and to learn cutting edge tips from business experts.
Designer Benjamin Huntington returned for his second consecutive BOLD Summit to emcee, and past BOLD Master winner and design luminary Clodagh presented the awards.
Following the ceremony, limousines transported the winners and select attendees to an exclusive $1,000 per person black tie charity dinner at the John Hancock Signature Room to raise money and awareness for The Alpha Workshops, Save Venice and CASA OC, three charities selected by the masters.
Clodagh also presented and auctioned-off colorful “breakfast bracelets” to raise money and awareness for her charity: The Thorn Tree Project.
The BOLD Product Showcase, which also took place during the Summit, provided an opportunity for attending designers to display their unique products to the design community as well as gain national media exposure.
High-end fabric and wallpaper company House of Harris was voted by attendees as “Best in Show”.
