Ashley Donating $2M in Products, Discounts to Hurricane Victims

Ashley Furniture Industries is assisting with hurricane relief efforts in Texas and Florida by donating products and subsidizing discounts totaling more than $1 million in each state.
The aid is available to victims who have incurred damage to their homes and/or personal belongings.
“Like the rest of America, we were shaken by the images coming from Texas and Florida during and after the two storms,” said Todd Wanek, President and CEO of Ashley. “Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with the victims during this difficult time.”

Ashley Furniture is currently working with local relief organizations and Ashley HomeStores in the following locations: the Houston metro, Corpus Christi, Victoria, Beaumont and Nederland areas of Texas; and the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Orlando, Jacksonville, Naples/Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Myers and Miami areas of Florida.
Additionally, Ashley employees across the nation are holding a flood drive to gather food and personal hygiene items as well as monetary donations. The company said these efforts are taking place at the corporate office and at each of its factories and distribution centers. In addition, Ashley's nationwide sales force is participating.
