Malouf Adds Territory Manager, 4 Account Managers to Sales Team

Malouf, a Utah-based bedding accessories maker, has added a new territory manager and hired four account managers for its sales team.

The company said Joe Summers has been named territory manager for the Midwest North region of the U.S.; Spencer Pauni has been appointed account manager for the Northeast region, serving with Territory Manger Jason Cale; Brian Watts has been assigned as account manager for the Southeast region, serving with Territory Manager Jesse Gibbs; Shane Wilde has been named account manager for the Midwest South region, partnering with Territory Manager Eric Holmstead; and George Pauni has been assigned as the account manager for the Northwest and Southwest regions, working with Northwest Territory Manager Jeff Holmstead and newly-appointed Southwest Territory Manager Branson Smith.

“Our growth and success really comes down to the service and hustle of our sales team,” said Mike Douglas, vice president of sales. “Our territory managers are incredible at working with regional reps, bringing in new accounts and helping existing accounts meet new sales goals. We added account managers to focus on logistics, pinpointing the right product mix, training, merchandising and shipping for each individual account.”

Douglas said this dual approach adds a new dimension of personalized service to accounts, with account teams servicing six regional territories to manage some 75 regional reps and provide strategic solutions to each retail partner.

He said territory managers focus on account growth and service, while account managers monitor sales reports and track shipments to enhance retailers’ orders and sales.
