Vegas Market to Open Third Pavilion at January Show

Las Vegas Market will expand and realign some of its temporary exhibit areas for the Winter Market with the opening of its third Pavilion as an exhibit area.

Temporary exhibits featuring gift and home décor products have been housed in two Pavilions for the past several markets, but market organizers said increasing demand for exhibit space led to the decision to re-open its third Pavilion.

Pavilion 3 will be devoted exclusively to Discoveries: The Antique Vintage Marketplace during winter market, which takes place Jan. 28 to Feb 1. In Pavilions 1 and 2, buyers will enjoy easy, efficient and convenient access to new concentrations of existing gift and home décor resources.

This expansion and realignment is designed specifically to address the Market’s significant growth in gift and home décor temporary exhibitors and to accommodate the new Artexpo Contemporary Las Vegas premiere in Pavilion 2, officials said.

“The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market have been growing steadily as demand continues to escalate for temporary exhibition space, and the addition of Pavilion 3 along with the new layout with new category introductions in Pavilions 1 and 2 will expand resources while also improving both adjacencies and efficiencies for buyers,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of gift leasing and chief marketing officer at International Market Centers. “As the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market is committed to presenting the most exciting and innovative merchandise in an easy-to-shop format.”

With the addition of Artexpo Contemporary Las Vegas, she said Las Vegas Market becomes the only major west coast furniture, gift and home décor venue to present a fine art component.

The new Artexpo Contemporary Las Vegas pop-up show is being presented in partnership with Redwood Media Group (RMG), which owns and operates fine art shows across the country, including the world’s largest fine art show, Artexpo New York.

Belshaw said there will be more than 500 exhibitors in the three pavilions, showcasing a total of 165,000 square feet of gift and home décor temporary resources.
