The Saatva Company, an online mattress retailer, has been named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for the third straight year.
Saatva placed in the top 500 at 266, moving up 50 spots from last year, and was ranked 14th out of 168 retail companies nationwide.
"It's an honor to be named to the Inc. 5000 list for the third time," said Ron Rudzin, CEO and co-founder. "We have experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, which is a testament to our focus on creating a solid and profitable business before seeking funding. By focusing on building well-run operations, providing top customer service and leveraging our industry experience, we have developed a strong foundation and continue to grow."
Rudzin said Saatva had $146 million in revenue in 2016, an increase of 128% from 2015, and should reach $200 million in revenue this year.
Saatva has a delivery infrastructure network of 17 factories and 144 delivery partners, and an industry-low return rate of 5.6%, he said.
The Inc. 5000 is a ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2013. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of Dec. 31, 2016.
