Online mattress brand Saatva has hired Joe McCambley as its chief strategy officer.
In this capacity, McCambley will assist with developing and executing corporate strategic initiatives and will help lead the company's online operations, including marketing, social media and public relations.
"I have known Joe for many years and can attest to his expertise in revolutionizing the marketing and advertising industry," said Ron Rudzin, CEO of The Saatva Company. "His background and knowledge will be a tremendous asset to our company as we continue to expand and look for innovative ways to reach consumers."
McCambley comes to Saatva with an extensive background in marketing and advertising. Most recently, he served as senior vice president at POP, a digital advertising and consulting agency, where he helped implement Enterprise Content Strategies for major Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to POP, McCambley co-founded and served as creative director of The Wonderfactory, a company focused on reinventing new ways for consumers to interact with content. He previously held executive leadership positions in creative roles at AOL, Digitas and Modern Media.
"It's an exciting time to join the Saatva team as the company continues to disrupt the mattress industry," said McCambley. "I look forward to contributing to the company's continued success and working with the team to develop creative marketing strategies."
