Castellani Gets Corporate Communications Post at Man Wah

Upholstery major Man Wah Holdings has named Kevin Castellani to the newly-created position of director of corporate communications.
In this role, Castellani will be responsible for external communications and brand positioning to the trade and consumer press. In addition, he will oversee the company’s digital strategy, updating the web site, and building a stronger e-commerce platform.
The company said he will work with the U.S. team and Man Wah’s parent company in China on all global communications as the company continues to expand worldwide.
Castellani is the former publisher of Furniture/Today and was president of its parent company, Progressive Business Media.
He reports to Guy Ray, CEO of Man Wah USA.
Ray said Castellani also will be working on mergers and acquisitions, sourcing opportunities for ManWah’s continued growth in North America, and developing strategic partnerships with North America companies who want to enter the Chinese market through an alliance with Man Wah Holdings.
He will also manage Man Wah’s continued commitment to various industry associations and functions, charitable donations, and social trade issues.
Man Wah is best known as a motion upholstery producer, but has added stationary upholstery and bedding to its portfolio in recent years.
