OW Lee, a manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture, fire pits, and accessories, has announced the introduction of the Flex Comfort seating system.
The technology will be available on the new Pacifica collection for the 2017-18 season.
Flex Comfort is a knitted UV-enhanced polypropylene and elastic co-polymer fabric that offers the ease of maintenance as a sling product but with more conforming flex for supreme comfort. The UV enhanced polypropylene yarns have more than 15 years of field performance, and the chemistry in the thermoplastic elastomer provides excellent recovery and fatigue resistance with proven results.
“I couldn’t be more excited about the introduction of this product,” said Terri Lee Rogers, president and VP of sales and marketing. “Our customers have been asking us for sling dining for some time now, but we wanted to do something with a higher level of comfort. Flex Comfort is the perfect answer.”
Flex Comfort is a made-to-fit product with less waste and environmental impact. It is breathable and dries quicker than foam- and fabric-related products and is available in brown, silver, charcoal, and black. It meets OW Lee’s highest quality standards, with each part being inspected for quality conformance to specification.
OW Lee manufactures heirloom quality products in Ontario, Calif., and they are one of the few remaining companies in the outdoor furniture industry that still manufactures in the U.S.
