Salon West Ready for LV Summer Market Debut

Salon West LogoLas Vegas Market has announced that Salon West, a juried showcase of better home décor featured on the 5th floor of building C, is scheduled to make its Summer Market debut with three new exhibitors.

The first summer market presentation will feature a total of 12 fashion-forward firms, including newcomers E. Lawrence Ltd., Lo Forti Fine Prints and Tempaper.

“Las Vegas Market continues to expand its overall home décor category offerings and to concentrate its better home décor resources to make shopping and sourcing more efficient for buyers,” said Scott Eckman, president of furniture and home décor leasing/chief strategy officer.

“Salon West showcases the crème de la crème of design-driven home products in a sophisticated gallery-like setting, which is reinvented by exhibitors for each Market, keeping it fresh for designers and retailers shopping for unique new-to-market product introductions,” Eckman continued.

Newcomers to Salon West at Summer Market include: E. Lawrence Ltd., a purveyor of leather-bound books and handmade parchment bound books; Lo Forti Fine Prints, offering hand-colored antique reproduction images, hand-detailed matting and custom framing; and Tempaper, a creator of self-adhesive, removable wallpaper in an ever-changing array of high-impact designs.

These newcomers join the nine inaugural Salon West suppliers who are returning, including: Amity Home, a supplier of quilts, duvet covers, shams and pillows; Europe2You, a provider of sustainable antique and repurposed home furnishings and culinary accents; Get Lit, a supplier of creative, hand-crafted jewelry, candles and accessories; Jamie Dietrich, a Los Angeles-based designer of recycled and vintage home décor and jewelry; Lowcountry Originals, producers of lighting and accessories crafted from natural materials such as marsh reeds, old metals, driftwood and oyster shells; Luna Bella, a supplier of lighting, clocks, furniture and accessories recognized for its blend of soft elegance and industrial chic flair; Natural Curiosities, a lifestyle brand providing unique wall décor, furniture and flooring with distinct European elegance and California enthusiasm; OLY Studio, an award-winning design team that infuses antique motifs with a contemporary edge to create modern luxury furniture, accessories and lighting; and Tritter Feefer, an environmentally-conscious, manufacturer of transitional American-made furnishings and accents.

“Circus on C5” and “Cirque du Salon,” two special events inspired by Cirque du Solei will take place on Sunday, July 31, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on C5.  The floor-wide festivities will include Cirque-style performers, games and attractions, specialty cocktails and a floating champagne service.  Other highlights include the Sweets at Cirque Du Salon, a circus-themed soiree during which Salon West vendors will offer market specials, entertainment and special showroom events.
