CIFF Expecting 90,000 Visitors for September Show

More than 2,000 exhibitors and 90,000 attendees are expected to be on hand for the 40th edition of the China International Furniture Fair, which is set for Sept. 11-14 at the National Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai.

CIFF officials said the layout of the show floors will be divided into five major sectors to make it easier for buyers to shop the event.

The first floor of the venue will be devoted to modern home furniture. Within that sector, show officials said there will be areas with distinctive themes, including European and American lifestyle brands, a sleep center, and a customized furniture/smart home area.

“This clustered layout will enable visitors to locate their target products quickly and will further enhance procurement efficiency and quality,” CIFF said in a statement describing the show layout.

In addition, CIFF said the home décor and home textiles sector is being relocated to Hall 5.2, and the outdoor and leisure furniture sector is being moved to Hall 6.2.

Office furniture, meanwhile, will be concentrated in Halls 7.2 and 8.2, and furniture machinery and raw materials exhibitors will be in halls 7.1 and 8.1, show officials said.
