Houzz Launches Program Offering Discounts to Trade Professionals

Houzz Trade ProgramHome remodeling and design platform Houzz Inc. has launched a new trade program to provide industry professionals the chance to profit by purchasing and recommending products from its Houzz Marketplace.

The Houzz Marketplace offers everything for house remodeling projects and custom home builds, with items ranging from bathtubs and fixtures to furniture and décor products. The new Houzz Trade Program is open to all industry trade professionals, including designers, architects, and contractors. The program is also integrated with existing tools from Houzz, like Sketch and idea books.

“We’re incredibly excited to give our 1.5 million-strong professional community the opportunity to increase both profit and client satisfaction through the Houzz Trade Program,” said Liza Hausman, vice president of industry marketing for Houzz.

“This program is the latest tool we’ve developed to benefit our incredible pro community, and continues to make the process of renovation and design more productive, profitable and fun for everyone involved,” added Hausman.

Some of the benefits of the Houzz Trade Program include: trade-only pricing of up to 50 percent on products in the Marketplace, the chance to earn up to 10 percent in credit when buying any one of the eight million retail-priced products, a dedicated support team to help facilitate and expedite orders, and free shipping for most trade-discounted orders over $49.

Members of several industry trade professions, including the American Society for Interior Designers (ASID), the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), the American Institute of Architects (AIA) the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and the Interior Design Society (IDS), have all been pre-approved to join the program.
