Castelle Sponsors Designer Vignette During Atlanta Market

Castelle LogoLuxury casual furniture producer Castelle will sponsor “The Great Reset” designer vignette during the AmericasMart International Gift and Home Market taking place July 11 – 18.  Castelle will be collaborating on the vignette with Atlanta award-winning designer, Steve McKenzie of Steve McKenzie’s.

Castelle will be collaborating on the vignette with Atlanta award-winning designer, Steve McKenzie of Steve McKenzie’s.

Once installed, the vignette, which will be located on the 14th floor of building 1, will be on display through November 2017 for viewing by design professionals and the media visiting AmericasMart.

“Castelle is proud to be a part of “The Great Reset” vignette program and to be collaborating with Steve McKenzie for this designer-focused market destination,” said Derek Ritzel, president/CEO, Castelle. “With the assistance of the folks at the AmericasMart and Steve’s expertise, we are looking forward to attracting attention from design professionals and media personnel throughout the market and beyond.”

“Redefining How We Live, Design and Do Business,” is the focus of the vignette program, and the 14th floor location has been designed as a dedicated museum-style gallery.

The theme for the Castelle vignette will be “Design Matters.”  McKenzie will define this using the outdoor living furnishings from Castelle along with additional products sourced from AmericasMart campus showrooms.

“We are excited to work with Castelle on this vignette,” said Steve McKenzie. “I love the extensive collection and choices in their line. Our inspiration for the vignette was the cabanas on the French Riviera.”

McKenzie is a recognized Atlanta interior/exterior designer and a frequent lecturer on design at AmericasMart.  He is often tapped to design the indoor or outdoor rooms of area show-houses. He is also the co-owner, with his wife, Jill, of Steve McKenzie’s. The store offers a combination of products designed by the McKenzies with handmade pieces from Southern artisans.

“I love designing outdoor spaces,” said McKenzie. “Living in Atlanta, al fresco entertaining is a way of life. For this vignette, it will be a cozy conversation area with an ombre’d back wall suggesting the sea and coastline. There are so many outdoor high-performance fabrics today that I think we have chosen fun combination in the color palette of Design Matters in interesting combinations.”

The Castelle showroom during the Atlanta market is located in The Gardens, 10-A-07.
