FFD Debuts Quick-Ship Program for Custom Upholstery, Dining

Fine Furniture DesignUpholstery and case goods resource Fine Furniture Design is unveiling a quick-ship program that will allow custom upholstery and dining room products to be delivered from its factory in Shanghai to the West Coast in five weeks.

The effort, named Protégé Priority Program, calls for delivery of those same products to the East Coast in eight weeks.

“With this program, we are able to bring product to the U.S. for our dealers much more efficiently and in a remarkably short lead time,” said Eric Graham, president of Fine Furniture Design. “Combined with the many fabric and finish options that are available, this program is a real competitive advantage for our dealers, no matter where they’re located.”

For West Coast customers, the company is utilizing distribution resources to deconsolidate loads to service smaller orders. Products are also available by direct container.

For East Coast dealers, the company will monitor sales data to track best-selling products and will begin keeping inventory of those items in its warehouse in Conover, N.C.
