            Blinking Cowboy Hat Earns Retailer $1,500 Prize

         Alyssa Henry of Florida-based Hudson’s Furniture is headed home from this week’s Home Furnishings Alliance networking conference in San Antonio with an extra $1,500, thanks to a cowboy-themed promotion sponsored by mattress producer Restonic.
Alyssa Henry of Florida-based Hudson’s Furniture is headed home from this week’s Home Furnishings Alliance networking conference in San Antonio with an extra $1,500, thanks to a cowboy-themed promotion sponsored by mattress producer Restonic.
Henry’s name was drawn from retailers who attended the conference’s opening night barbecue wearing a cowboy hat handed out by Restonic as they checked in for the event.
The hats featured blinking lights on the rim.
"We’re happy to support the retail community of HFA and the cowboy hats were a way to salute the venue in the state of Texas while having a little fun with the blinking rims,” said Ron Passaglia, president and CEO of Restonic. “The prize of $1,500 gave retailers a reason to join in the event in an out-of-the-box way and connect with each other through conversations about their crazy cowboy hats.”
