Emerald Promotes Treadaway, Mayer to New VP Posts

Full-line furniture importer and producer Emerald Home Furnishings has promoted Terry Treadaway to vice president of Emerald Mississippi and Dave Mayer to vice president of e-commerce.
Both are newly created positions for the company. Treadaway will oversee Emerald’s upholstery factory in New Albany, Miss., while Mayer will continue to head its e-commerce sales operation.
“He was the architect of our Mississippi facility, laid out plans for our plant, hired managers, and hired and trained staff,” said Emerald President David Beckmann. “Emerald Mississippi is off to a remarkable start and Terry’s hard work and dedication have made this new facility a success.”
Beckmann said Mayer joined the company in 2014 as director of e-commerce and has grown the division “at a remarkable pace. The growth in e-commerce has improved warehouse profitability significantly.”
