FastFact: Third Quarter Remains Strongest for Furniture Sales

Brisk sales in August and September have historically paced sales in the third quarter, making it the strongest quarter of the year for furniture sales, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
The data shows that third-quarter dominance has been especially evident since 2002.
Strong December sales in recent years, however, have helped boost the fourth quarter.
