Bob’s Donates Furniture to Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia

Bob’s Discount Furniture collaborated with the Philadelphia Eagles and Ronald McDonald House Charities this week to donate new furniture to the Front & Erie house in Philadelphia.

To surprise the families, Eagles players Ron Brooks and Najee Goode were disguised as Bob’s employees and were later joined by the NFL team’s cheerleaders and mascot, Swoop. The players then shared pizza with the families staying at the house.

Opened in 2008, the Front & Erie house is located next to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and provides temporary housing for families of patients at the hospital. The facility includes 20 guest bedrooms.
