Adjustable bed producer Reverie has promoted John Wanat to vice president of sales for its wholesale division.
Wanat, who had been national sales director for wholesale operations since 2014, will set the sales direction and drive the company’s expansion of its wholesale business in his new post. He reports to Martin Rawls-Meehan, president and CEO.
“We recorded exceptional growth last year, and as we continue to grow our wholesale business, it’s imperative that we have the right people in the right positions to facilitate and manage the growth,” Rawls-Meehan said. “We believe this restructuring of our sales team positions us to continue our growth trajectory.”
Wanat has more than 20 years' experience in home furnishings sales and management. He began his career in 1994 at Liverpool, N.Y.-based retailer Raymour & Flanagin.
In addition to Wanat, Reverie has appointed a number of regional directors and managers to the sales team. Dan Daumen has been named director of regional sales, responsible for the Northeast and Southeast, and Tony Snell has been named director of regional sales for the Midwest and Southwest.
Daumen, a four-year veteran with Reverie, was previously Northeast regional sales manager. Snell, who has been with the company six years, had been Southwest regional sales manager.
Both Daumen and Snell report to Wanat.
Two account managers round out the company’s restructured sales team. Joe Paglino, a two-year veteran with Reverie, has been named account manager in the Southwest. Prior to his promotion, Paglino was the regional sales trainer in the same territory. Chris Crook has been named account manager for the Northeast, taking over the duties formerly managed by Daumen. Crook joins Reverie with more than 15 years in business development in the medical technology field.
