Diakon Logistics Adds Kerns to Management Team

Michael Kerns has been named director of safety and risk management at last-mile delivery provider Diakon Logistics.
Kerns has more than 17 years of experience in risk management, environmental health and safety management programs, fleet safety management, human resources, insurance and claims. He previously held similar positions with Interstate Van Lines, The Secor Group, and BK Racing.
“Mike’s experience and vision for this critical aspect of our business increases value to our retail partners, employees, and independent contractors which in turn improves the way we serve Mrs. Jones,” said Rob Davis, vice president of client solutions.
