FastFact: Furniture, Other Durable Goods See Steady Price Declines

Prices for durable goods, which include furniture, appliances and electronics, have declined steadily since 2012, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The data shows durable goods prices are now about 3.3 percentage points below 2010.
The services sector, paced by rapidly increasing medical costs, is the only broad sector of the economy that continues to see significant price increases.
