Restoration Hardware Recalls Metal Top Dining Tables

Restoration Hardware (NYSE: RH) has recalled about 2,700 metal top dining tables from its Railroad Tie and Parson's Railroad collections because the tops may contain lead, which can be harmful to children.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the retailer has received reports of elevated blood lead levels in four children in two homes where a recalled table was present. One incident involving two children occurred in Cranston, R.I., and another incident involving two children occurred in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The CPSC said consumer should stop using the tables, cover them and place in an area that's out of reach to children.  Consumers also should contact Restoration Hardware for a replacement table or full refund.

The tables were sold at Restoration Hardware outlet stores and on the retailer's website between March 2012 and December 2016. A complete list of table sizes and model numbers is available here.

Restoration Hardware toll-free at 888-728-8419 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday or online at www.restorationhardware.com and click on "Safety Recalls" at the bottom of the page for more information.
