Report: Walker Furniture Plans 100,000-Square-Foot Store in Vegas

Retailer Walker Furniture is planning to open a 100,000 square-foot store in southwest Las Vegas next year that is part of a sprawling development that will include other retail space, restaurants and a hotel, according to a story in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The store – the retailer’s second superstore in the Las Vegas market – would be next to an Ikea store that opened last May.
The new store tentatively is scheduled to open sometime in 2018, the story said.
